If you are a healthy, able-bodied
individual and are eager to work for
potentially high rewards, an Alaskan
Fishing Job may just be what you’re
looking for.
For The Experienced & Inexperienced
/ Seasonal & Year Round -The
Alaskan fishing industry offers both

opportunities, regardless of
employment history or country/city
of origin. The industry is
ideal for students looking to only
work for 2-3 months, as employment
in the canneries & onboard
commercial fishing vessels can yield
substantial income in a very short
period of time. In addition,
there are long-term employment
opportunities available for those
that are would like to stick around
and earn up to 15k a month in a
quest to achieve a certain financial
goal.
For Men & Women -
Despite the fact that the Alaska
Fishing Industry is still a very
male-dominated industry, the region
is attracting an increasing number
of women every year. Many of
the jobs require physical finesse &
persistence, rather than strength.
There are currently thousands of job
opportunities in the Canneries &
Floating processors for women, along
with openings on commercial fishing
vessels. The average wage of a
cannery processor is over 6k a
month, and most of the positions in
the processing plants are filled by
women. But, keep in mind, that
both men & women must be prepared
for the challenges that lie ahead.

absolutely nothing that will prevent you
from finding employment in the region, no
matter what language you speak, what country
you are from, or even the length of time you

industry is full of new inexperienced
workers. For most positions, there are
no major qualification and work experience
hurdles to jump to find employment in
Alaska, regardless of whether you are
planning to work on a commercial fishing
vessel or at an onshore facility, such as a
cannery, processor, etc...

inexperienced job seekers flock to the
